Premium Sweets & Restaurant
About This Spot
Stepping into Premium Sweets & Restaurant in the heart of Jackson Heights feels like entering a welcoming corner of Bangladesh amidst the bustling city streets. The atmosphere hums with warmth, framed by the gentle chatter of families and friends who have gathered to share moments over familiar flavors. It’s a place where the pace slows just enough for the day’s stresses to melt away, replaced by the aroma of spices slowly mingling with the sweet scent of freshly crafted Bengali desserts.
This spot marries the rich traditions of Bangladeshi home cooking with the cheerful buzz of a local favorite. Whether it’s early morning and the glass cases brim with colorful sweets inviting you to try a bite of jilapi or sandesh, or midday when the biryani and curries fill the air with tantalizing fragrances, the experience here feels both grounded and comforting. There’s a thoughtful rhythm to the way dishes arrive — from the layered, fragrant goat biryani to the crisp textures of vegetable vaji, every bite speaks of care and heritage.
The setting is unpretentious, a blend of simple yet inviting decor that encourages lingering conversations. It’s the kind of place where familiarity builds with every visit, enhanced by the unmistakable flavors of home for those who grew up savoring Bengali meals and a charming discovery for those encountering them for the first time.
What makes Premium Sweets & Restaurant resonate beyond the food itself is the subtle sense of community woven through the experience. The welcoming smiles, the shared delight in each carefully prepared dish, and the quiet joy of tasting sweets that conjure memories — all come together to offer more than just a meal, but a gentle connection to a rich cultural tapestry.

We enjoyed a delicious Bengali meal at Premium Sweets & Restaurant in Jackson Heights. The ilish was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spices, while the rui fish had that authentic home-style flavor we love. The begun bhaji was crispy on the outside and tender inside, and the loitta vorta packed a flavorful punch that paired wonderfully with the plain rice and dal. Everything tasted fresh and reminded us of traditional home cooking.

Enjoied delicious Bengali food at Premium Sweets & Restaurant in Jackson Heights. Beef kala bhuna was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spices ingredients , rui fish with cauliflower had the authentic home-style flavour. Alu vazi reminds me my mom's cooking, and alu vorta with the plain rice and dal was out of the world. Also tried vegun vorta, dal vorta and shutki. Every items tasted fresh and reminded me traditional home cooking and deshi tastes.

When I first saw this restaurant , I thought it’s the original popular brand from Bangladesh. But then found out from my friend they just used their name to open up this place. Still the restaurant has nice interior, the sitting area looks really nice. Alongside Bangladeshi dishes, they also have huge variety of sweets and confectionery goods. We went early in the morning around 10am, so there was not much lunch items to order. Luckily they had the item my friend was craving for, beef nehari. We got a big box it. It had really good taste, bone pieces were large. I also got a mango lassi, but it was thin, almost seemed watery to me. Few staff members we interacted with were friendly. One of them told us upfront parathas were not ready and would take time if we had ordered.
